Week 3 proved to be a great week. My friend and I are loving Turbo Fire! No need for the New to Class format anymore. We click on the regular workout, select to have the music fired up (barely hearing Chalene although I LOVE her!) and get the party started. And we can't forget about having the ceiling fan going, one of the windows in the living room open and the front door. Hey, we get HOT doing Turbo Fire
On day 6 we switched it up a little. Since Stretch 40 bores my friend to death, we did Fire 45 instead, along with the scheduled Core 20. Talk about a workout! Day 7 was Fire 55. 55 minutes of pure go go go when you don't use New to Class. Man oh man we were dripping in sweat. But felt so good! I felt every muscle in my core aching the next day. Still, no complaints. I finish my workout with a smile on my face!
One thing I have NOT been doing is keeping track of what I am eating. I know. Totally bad idea. Stepped on the Wii and it said I actually gained weight. What?! But I'm looking thinner! My conclusion (just to make me happy) slight muscle gain, LOL! Seriously! That's what I concluded and I'm sticking with it....well, not entirely. I decided that for the final week of the first month and all of next month, I'll be tracking my what I consume to make sure I get in the calories that the booklet states I should be having. Wish me luck!
Another thing that I am going to be including in the next two weeks is Shakeology. Shakeology has 70 high-quality nutrients that our bodies need to maintain a healthy diet. Since our regular diets are usually missing some of the vitamins and minerals that our bodies need, it's always best to supplement. So to help me lose these last 8-10 lbs. and my little tummy, I'll definitely add this into my eating plan by switching out one meal a day for this instead. Can't wait to have it arrive at my door!
Week 4 is underway and I'm excited to track my first month results on Sunday Feb. 20th! Even if I haven't dropped as much as I thought I would, I know that my cardio has greatly improved! And that's always exciting.
If you want to join me on this fitness journey, let me know! I'm always willing to add more accountability partners! It doesn't even have to be Turbo Fire. Anything you are already doing or any other product from Beachbody will count!
