Turbo Fire Week 2 Review

Week Two was completed on Sunday. Still going strong! Have I mentioned lately how much I just love this program? I have? Ooops, sorry ::smile:: I have come to realize that I am kind of addicted to the HIIT workouts. The HIIT workouts, high intensity interval training, range from 15-30 minutes and you're doing short drills for about one minute at a time, resting for one minute and then going at it again. You'll have about 4 or more routines you do about 2 times each. It's quick but intense. You will be breathing hard and sweating within the first 5-10 minutes of a HIIT workout. And I love it! I also did the Core 20 workout and I felt that for like 2 days!! It definitely targets every aspect of your core. Spots that you probably didn't even know existed.

No, I have not gotten my shoes to do my workouts in. I will have to do it soon though. I just can't make a decision on what to get! I'm starting to lean towards the Nike Shox. Thought I'm not sure if they have the circle on the bottom that I would need for pivoting. But they're so hot!

I had a doctor appointment last week and took along my TF Fuel The Fire nutrition guide and my Clean Eating magazine. The doctor saw my reading materials and asked how my appetite was. I mentioned that I was doing pretty good and explained what I had been doing; clean eating/high raw food/vegetarian combo that is. He was quite impressed. That led him to check my chart again and he was quite pleased that I had been steadily making changes in my weight since first coming to him almost two years ago. He's convinced that the only reason why I was having trouble dropping the weight I had gained during my pregnancy was the fact that I had been trying to focus on being a new Mom. Like, that's where all my attention was. That and being a lovely wife! He encouraged me to keep doing what I was doing and is looking forward to sitting down with me after this round of TF!

TF is one of the things I look forward to every day. Week 3 will have more HIIT training! I'm excited!!

Congrats on completing your first 2 weeks! I love Beach Body and actually use the Slim in 6 and Slim Series. I might have to checkout the Turbo Fire though as I tend to get burnt out after awhile and always looking for something new to motivate me again. Stopping by from SITS to say hello and follow :)

Congrats on finishing week 2! I am just starting week 2 today. Week one was hard for me, and I too found out I need some new shoes that can handle all those jumps.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks for stopping by ladies!

@Mommyof2girlz, I've heard some really great things about Slim in 6. I might give it a try later on in the year.

@DP, Thanks for the follow! You know, it is a little tough but you just have to push through it. It's more fun than tough though. The music is the best!

@Heather, thanks for stopping by! HIIT means High Intensity Interval Training. Basically going all out for a short amount of time with typically the same amount of recovery time. In TurboFire, the Fire Drills (HIIT) are about 60 seconds long and you get 60 seconds of recovery. S much fun. Good for if you want a really great workout and you're short on time.

@Midorimi, I've yet to get the new shoes :-( I'm so picky on shoes and I don't want to get just anything and have to replace them shortly afterwards! Keep going with TF!
